Here at EFS, we work predominantly with children in Essex and Suffolk. Over the last few years, however we have become increasingly aware of a growing, urgent need for foster carers in Cambridgeshire.
An increase in the number of children coming into care coupled with a higher-than- average shortfall in foster carers means that the outlook for many children in this area is bleak, despite the best efforts of professsionals working in this region.
We’d love to encourage more Cambridgeshire folk to consider fostering. Following the popularity of our “Let’s set the record straight” video series, we will be taking to the road in Cambridgeshire to help explode the myths around fostering and to answer any fostering questions you may have.
It will be a great opportunity to meet the whole team and to chat to one or two of our carers. Feel free to invite your friends or family.
